This Sunday we will continue our CELEBRATION OF ADVENT with candle lighting and music. This Sunday the Reverend Renie Stamm-Kirk will lead us in Worship and Holy Communion at 10am. The message will be "A Simple Beginning”, using Isaiah 40: 1-11. She will be assisted by “Big Tim ” doing the Children’s story.

The Music for Celebration will be "Children, Let’s Wait for the Baby" performed by our youth choir, and our Ministry of Music will be “Comfort Ye” and “Every Valley” from The Messiah, by Handel, a vocal solo by Dean Gilman.

Our Social Outreach Mission for December is the Community Action Council’s Christmas program. Local families are adopted and given the opportunity to enjoy a bountiful Christmas that they would not otherwise have. The gifts under the tree and a holiday meal for our own neighbors gives us a chance to receive joy as much as to give.

Community Congregational United Church of Christ is located on the hill at 1305 West 2nd Street, just one block north of Military in Benicia. Worship is Sunday at 10:00AM. Come early, 9:45AM, for Gathering Music. Children and youth join us in worship this Sunday as we celebrate an intergenerational service. Child care is always available.
